Booking policies

A short summary of how deposits and cancellations usually work at Gingerbread Conference Centre. Your written booking confirmation and any venue-hire agreement will always take precedence over this page.

Deposits

To secure a date we typically ask for a non-refundable deposit. The amount and due date depend on your event type, season, and package. We will quote this clearly in writing before you commit.

The balance is usually payable by an agreed date before the event, or as set out in your invoice.

Cancellations and changes

If you need to move or cancel, please tell us as soon as possible. Refunds or credit for money already paid depend on how close the change is to the event and whether we can resell the date. Specific thresholds will be listed in your booking paperwork.

Minor timetable or layout adjustments are normal when plans evolve. Confirm anything material in writing so our team and suppliers stay aligned.

Insurance and liability

You may wish to arrange event or public-liability insurance for larger gatherings. We can answer practical questions when you enquire; any formal indemnity wording will appear in your contract.
